Artist Tips

These shields are best suited for clients with normal eye shapes and lashes that are naturally straight, downward-growing, or lacking lift. The L curl profile provides excellent root elevation while maintaining a soft, natural curve through the mid-lengths and tips.

For optimal results, select a shield size that allows the lash tips to wrap approximately 70–80% of the shield's surface. Wrapping too far over the shield may create excessive curl, while insufficient wrapping can reduce the lifting effect. Ensure lashes are wrapped evenly and remain parallel to achieve a clean, symmetrical lift.

Due to the shield's tapered profile—thicker at the base with a gradual upward curve—these shields are not recommended for very hooded or deeply set eyes, where a flatter shield profile may produce a more balanced result.
