Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Your questions answered by the beauty experts at Jolee Beauty Co.

Lash Extensions

Q: How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions typically last 6-8 weeks before an infill is recommended. The exact duration depends on your natural lash cycle and how well you follow aftercare instructions.

Q: Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not at all—when applied correctly by a trained professional, lash extensions won’t damage your natural lashes. We use safe techniques and customise each set based on your lash health.

Q: Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

You won’t need mascara with extensions, but if you must, only use a water-based formula on the tips—not near the roots. Avoid waterproof mascara entirely.

Q: What’s the difference between Classic, Volume, and Hybrid lashes?

  • Classic: One extension per natural lash – soft and natural

  • Volume: Multiple ultra-fine lashes fanned per lash – fuller, more dramatic

  • Hybrid: A blend of Classic & Volume – textured, wispy, and versatile

Lash Lift

Q: How long does a lash lift last?

Results last 6–8 weeks depending on your lash cycle and aftercare.

Q: Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?

Yes! You can apply mascara after 24 hours if desired, though many clients find they no longer need it.

Q: Is a lash lift safe?

Absolutely. We use premium, gentle formulas and ensure every step is tailored to your eye shape and lash health.

Brow Services (Shaping, Lamination, Tinting)

Q: What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination straightens and sets brow hairs upward to create a fuller, more defined look. It’s like a semi-permanent “brow gel” that lasts for weeks.

Q: How long does brow lamination last?

Typically 6–8 weeks with proper care.

Q: Can I combine lamination with tinting and shaping?

Yes! We often pair lamination with tint and wax for a complete brow makeover.

Q: How should I maintain my brows between appointments?

Avoid tweezing, use a spoolie to brush daily, apply brow serum or oil, and protect them from excessive sun and skincare products.

Cosmetic Tattooing (Brows & Lips)

Q: What’s the difference between Microblading, Powder Brows, and Combination Brows?

  • Microblading: Fine hair-like strokes for a natural look

  • Powder Brows: Soft shading for a more filled-in effect

  • Combination Brows: A mix of both for added definition and texture

Q: Is cosmetic tattooing painful?

We use numbing cream to minimise discomfort. Most clients report only mild pressure or slight tingling during the treatment.

Q: How long does cosmetic tattooing last?

1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare.

Q: How many sessions are needed?

Most services require two sessions: the initial appointment and a touch-up 6–8 weeks later.

Q: Can I wear makeup after cosmetic tattooing?

Avoid applying makeup on or near the treated area for at least 7–10 days to allow proper healing.

Booking & Policies

Q: How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through our website or send us a DM on Instagram or Facebook.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. No-shows or late cancellations may result in a fee.

Q: Do I need a patch test?

For lash lifts, tints, or cosmetic tattooing, we recommend a patch test 24–48 hours prior, especially if you have sensitive skin.
